Summary

The plantings on the front edge of the once-empty lot stand out in busy Washington Ave. The group turned three years old in 2018 and continues to be an example of persistence and stewardship. At the start of the summer, the roses were in bloom and helped call attention to the outer fence of the lot. By the end of it, the group had also planted a magnificent Magnolia tree in the center of the garden, which will serve as main structure to continue designing pathways and plantings in the following years.
