Summary

Three trees offer shade and structure in a quiet lot on the busy Washington Avenue. Four years of gardening have brought a verdant lot of land to the center of the Hill neighborhood under the leadership of Nikki Little. Much of this year's plantings were made on the basis of the principle 'symmetry' — two colorful trees flank the previously-planted magnolia, and three shrubs on the southern edge of the garden mirror their counterparts on the northern edge.
