Summary

In its 7th year of participation, this group continued its tree-planting streak by planting 11 trees in Westville, a mixed-use residential and commercial neighborhood in the western part of the city. Under the leadership of Jessica Feinleib, the Barnett-Willard group systematically planted 6 trees on Central and Fountain, 2 on Whalley between Philip and Harrison, and 3 on Barnett and Fountain. Last year, having reached the 100 trees planted mark since the beginning of its existence as a Greenspace, the group seemingly leaves little left to do. Yet, this group enthusiastically continues to find new places to plant, and thus continues to shade and beautify Westville.
