Summary
The Wolcott and Lloyd site has been a Greenspace site for more than 10 years. This formerly vacant lot was used as a dumping ground and as the turf of the Latin Kings gang. Different groups of residents over the past 10 years have reclaimed the site as a Community Greenspace, which neighbors continue to enjoy. This summer, a group of three dedicated women has continued to maintain and beautify the site. Highlights included planting beautiful daylilies, black-eyed susans, and pink coneflowers.
