2010 Greenspace Report

The Farren/Fairmont group joined the URI program six years ago, during which period the group has been led by Silvia Lopusny. In previous years, they worked along Farren Avenue and Pardee and Lancraft Streets. In 2009, the group planted 4 street trees (bringing their three-year total to 13 trees), in addition to cleaning up garbage on the street. In 2010 the leadership baton was passed from Sylvia Lopusny to Lisa Hernandez. The group continued to improve the streetscape by planting six trees and perennials underneath them.
