2026 Greenspace Report

In their five years as a Greenspace group, Friends of Kimberly Field have worked toward their vision of a welcoming place along an entrance of Kimberly Ave—where one can stop, rest, and admire the flowers. They have stewarded and beautified this area of the park by filling it with a variety of shrubs and perennials. This year, the group continued stewarding their greenspace, by weeding, mulching, and watering the garden beds. They also made valuable additions to their greenspace, by planting colorful perennials in their shady garden bed and installing new wood edging boards. Through their hard work and dedication, Friends of Kimberly Field have transformed a once neglected entrance into a beautiful space for all park-goers to enjoy.
