2013 Greenspace Report
After 4 years of hard work and dedication with the Greenspace program, this group has successfully transformed the public spaces bordering their complex into beautiful gardens including shade and flowering trees, shrubs and perennials. In addition to the main gardens along Liberty Street, the group expanded their work last year by planting a couple of trees and flowering plants in a garden area on the Union Avenue side of their building. This summer the focus has been on stewardship of previous year's plantings. The group spent their time weeding, watering, cleaning up trash along the street, re-mulching the beds and replacing plants as needed.
