2020 Greenspace Report

The Chatham Square Neighborhood Association greenspace built on last year’s progress in stewarding Lewis St. Park. The group picked up trash, spread mulch, removed some dead plants, and added some perennials to the area around the splash pad. During the last meeting, the group took a tour of the neighborhood to examine the planter boxes that a past Greenspace group had worked on, which sparked some new volunteer interest. They engaged several neighbors in conversations about maintaining the boxes and other improvements to their community.
