We planted three ninebark shrubs in the compost corner. There was so much ivy we wodnered if it choked the dead Spirea we were replacing with the ninebark. We watered and spread mulch, and continued to remove the dead leaves from spring bulbs. It was a very productive session. |

We cleared bittersweet and multiflora rose off of a dogwood in the park. This poor tree was absolutely blanketed in these aggressive, spreading species. We are looking forward to pruning, mulching, and planting under the sweet tree now that all the vines are removed. |
