2024 Greenspace Report

Sylvia and her team have made significant strides in reforesting Fairmont Park by planting native species and working to eradicate foes such as Burning Bush and the Tree of Heaven. They have enhanced the park’s biodiversity and resilience by introducing a variety of native trees and shrubs, fostering a more balanced ecosystem. Their reforestation efforts are aimed at restoring wildlife habitat and ensuring the long-term health of both the park’s natural areas and community connections.
